How the redefining of marriage affects society

  by Steven Stacey.

Marriage is not just any word. It is a word that is deeply linked to social health
and well-being. Children, men, women and society all have best

outcomes when marital norms are strong. When marital norms are weakened,
  societies always go into decay.
Although a fair percentage of married couples
today choose to not have children, the core meaning of marriage has always
been to do with two opposite-sex adults taking full responsibility to honour
the intrinsic and natural right of their children to be raised by the two
people who brought them into this world.
